What are the requirements to host a course?

  • Programme (2x delivery days in total - course days separated by 2-6 weeks)
  • A PO number will be required a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the first day. Failure to do so will result in the course being cancelled.
  • Course register, including FANs of candidates will need to be submitted to progamelearning@thefa.com no later than 48 hours before the start of day one. 
  • Courses must run with a minimum of 24 learners, with a preference of 25+ learners.
  • All candidates must have completed and hold a valid FA Safeguarding Children Course and FA Introduction to Talent Identification Qualification. Both are available online.
  • The cost of the course is £220 per learner. 
  • All learners must be members of staff at the club or another club within the EPPP. You are not permitted to advertise the course externally. If you are found to be doing so, FA Education reserve the right to cancel your course.
  • Learners must attend the two days in full to be able to pass. Failure to attend a day will result in them not achieving the qualification as alternative days may not be an option.
  • You will be required to provide catering arrangements for all attendees, including tutors.
  • Suitable sized TV screen/s or projector with HDMI is required for the successful delivery of course content.
  • The course also has a requirement to spectate a live fixture, This is to the learners benefit can steer the course delivery, so please detail any suitable games taking place at either the club academy / training ground – In the event that this isn’t possible, you will need to provide suitable footage for this to take place.
