With the retirement of the Licensed Coaches’ Club in Summer 2020, individuals can now check their qualification on My Account. While The FA Youth Award Modules always received a high level of positive feedback from learners, take-up rates were much lower than other core coaching qualifications. In order to raise the standards of coaching in England, a comprehensive review of all education provision was completed. From the findings, it was decided that the principles of The FA Youth Award modules should be incorporated into the new core coaching qualifications. This is to ensure all coaches have access to these principles and understand how to apply them to the environment in which they coach. The principles of the Youth Award modules 1 and 2 were incorporated into The FA Level 2 in Coaching Football, and Youth Award module 3 into The FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football.
