What should I do if I do not receive a place or am waiting on applications to open on The FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football to continue with my learning and develop as a coach?

Make sure you continue to develop the skills you learnt on your FA Level 2 in Coaching Football or UEFA C course. Spending time coaching your players is key to your learning. It’s also a good idea to take the opportunity to learn from other coaches too; you can think about getting a mentor to help your reflection and learning or work with other coaches who are in a similar position in their journey to you and create a peer-to-peer support network.

County FA's will also be running Coach Development / CPD opportunities that you can book onto directly with them – visit their website to find out what your local County FA is running.

We'd also recommend visiting our Resources section of The Boot Room. If you’re a coach who’s looking for inspiration, guidance or even just some new ideas that you can try on the pitch, this is the place for you. From in-depth

Interviews with football coaches to coaching session plans and articles on helping players to become more skilful, our Resources section is guaranteed to have something to support you. When browsing our latest session plans, don’t forget to filter by age and/or skill development, behaviour, coaching approach, possession, possession, and transition to support you in your coaching context.

You can also visit the Coaching Community where you can interact with other coaches.

You can also view our latest Coach Development / CPD opportunities here.
