What if I already have the Safeguarding Children Course, The FA Introduction to First Aid in Football and DBS Check? Does that change the role I can take on?

Yes, if you have complete those two further steps, on top of the EE Playmaker by England Football course, you will be eligible to become a 'FA Lead Playmaker'.

Please note: In most cases those working with children will require an In-date, FA-accepted DBS check and they will be subject to safer recruitment processes.  A DBS check will depend on the eligibility requirements, e.g. individuals must be 16 or above to apply for a DBS check.

When you hold the EE Playmaker, Introduction to Coaching Football, Safeguarding Children Course and an FA DBS, your profile on MyAccount will automatically update to show you as a lead playmaker, you do not need to apply for the status, just lead playmaker roles.

You will not receive confirmation via a certificate to confirm you are a FA Lead Playmaker.
