What if I already have The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop, The FA Introduction to First Aid in Football and DBS Check? Does that change the role I can take on?

Yes, if you have complete those two further steps, on top of the EE Playmaker by England Football course, you will be eligible to apply for 'FA Lead Playmaker' roles in FA participation programmes.

Please note: In most cases those working with children will require an In-date, FA-accepted DBS check and they will be subject to safer recruitment processes.  A DBS check will depend on the eligibility requirements, e.g. individuals must be 16 or above to apply for a DBS check.

When you hold the EE Playmaker, Introduction to Coaching Football, Safeguarding Children Course and an FA DBS, your profile on MyAccount will automatically update to show you as a lead playmaker, you do not need to apply for the status, just lead playmaker roles.
