What do I need to do to take on a leading role as an FA Playmaker?

For a volunteer to lead activity in an FA participation programme, two further steps need to be completed after the FA Playmaker course:

Once they’ve been completed, the individual will be eligible to apply for 'FA Lead Playmaker' roles in FA participation programmes.  

Please note: In most cases those working with children will require an In-date, FA-accepted DBS check and they will be subject to safer recruitment processes.  A DBS check will depend on the eligibility requirements, e.g. individuals must be 16 or above to apply for a DBS check.
