In short - it’s a case of adding on some FA medical and safeguarding qualifications to your FA Playmaker modules.
To take on a leading role, you’ll need to complete:
- The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop
- The FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football
- DBS Check (if intending to supervise sessions involving under 18s)
Once you’ve done them, you’ll become an FA Lead Playmaker and eligible to take up a lead role in FA participation programmes.
