The FA Level 1 in Talent Identification is an online course which is free to complete. From understanding your responsibilities as a scout to establishing a rounded view of player potential at any age, this course will help you play your part in forming the England teams of the future.
The FA Level 2 in Talent Identification will enable learners to understand the roles and responsibilities of a scout. In order to book onto this course you must have completed The FA Level 1 in Talent Identification and hold a valid FA Safeguarding Children certificate.
The FA Level 3 in Advanced Principles of Talent Identification will develop learners' knowledge and understanding of advanced principles of Talent Identification. It will focus on an individual's ability to make evidence based decisions relating to the recruitment of players within the professional game. The course is aimed at staff working as Head of Talent Identification within the professional game. In order to book onto this course you must have completed The FA Level 2 in Talent Identification and hold a valid FA Safeguarding Children certificate.
The FA Level 4 in Talent Management, Strategy and Leadership in Football is designed for leaders in the talent identification field who are active in the professional game and keen to progress their learning. You will develop the skills to help you respond in a variety of situations that senior scouting staff regularly face. And you will learn effective ways to manage your scouting team capacity as well as you’ll discover new methods to lead an effective, high-performing talent identification department at an elite level.
The FA Level 5 for Technical Directors is a bespoke individualised course is aimed at those currently working as a technical director in professional football or have been identified as possessing the potential for the role and show a desire to improve what they do.
