I have completed one of the courses listed as a recognised alternative to FA first aid courses, how do I get this added to my FA Number (FAN)?

In order to use a recognised alternative please click here to submit this to us - select FA Education / FAN Support / Not all my qualifications are showing on My Account from the Topic drop-down and add non-FA medical course certificate as the subject. Through this you can attach a copy of your first aid certificate along with your name and FAN.

To use as an alternative at IFAiF, EFAiF or most courses equivalent to EMFAiF, you must have previously completed the equivalent level of FA first aid training. For most people this will be The FA Emergency Aid or The FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAiF), but could be the BFAS or EFAiF.

If you have previously completed FA first aid training then you will need to complete The FA Sudden Cardiac Arrest and The FA Concussion Guideline modules. Please complete these before sending your certificate to us.

Once received, the team will check that your certificate is acceptable and whether you have completed the two eLearning modules. If so this will then be attached to your FAN and you will receive confirmation of this.
