How can I apply for The FA Level 4 (UEFA A) in Coaching Football?

Applications for The FA Level 4 (UEFA A) are now being taken.

In order to apply learners must hold The FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football.

As part of their application learners must also be able to submit:

- Coaching CV
- Evidence of achievement at UEFA B (certificate, UEFA B action plan optional)
- A letter of recommendation from appropriate personnel (this could include FA Youth Coach Developers, FA National Coach Developers, WHPFC CDOs, the PFA, Academy Managers, Heads of Coaching, General Managers, CEO of club, first team managers, Chairman etc)
- Where appropriate provide their Individual Coach Development Plan

The number of applications made will most likely outstrip the number of places available, therefore in this situation the selection panel will follow the priority order given below:

Priority will be given to (Male Game):

-Those currently working within the senior Professional Game in England as part of the Premier League & English Football League
-Those who need the qualification in order to meet Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) requirements with those working with 11v11 given priority
-Full-time staff to be considered before part-time staff

Where possible coaches working in the below areas who don't necessarily need the qualification in terms of requirements, but have been identified in terms of future development will then be considered:

-Full-time coaches working in The National League and outside of the professional game with priority from step one to step seven.
-Coaches who are currently working and living in England

Priority will be given to (Women's Game):

-Those who need the qualification as part of the FA Women's Super League requirements
-Those who need the qualification as part of the FA Women's Championship League requirements
-Those who work within and need the qualification as part of the FA Female Talent Pathway requirements

Where possible coaches working in the below areas who don't necessarily need the qualification in terms of requirements, but have been identified in terms of future development will then be considered:

-Coaches working with FA Women's Super League, Championship & WSL Academy teams
-Coaches working with FA Women's National League teams
