I have already completed The FA Youth Award or FA Youth Award Module 3. Can I enter part way through?

No. All learners must complete all nine days of learning across all four blocks.

However, if you hold The FA Youth Award you will complete a 12-week project rather than an 18-week project.

If you have completed The FA Youth Award or FA Youth Award Module 3 you will also receive a higher place in selection, based on the published selection criteria.

In early 2017 FA Education ran a number of pilot FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football courses.

During these pilots it became apparent that, in order for the content of the course to build and progress in a learner-centred way, the content in the Blocks needed to be re-ordered. Therefore, Block 1 of The FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football is no longer the same content delivered in The FA Youth Award Module 3.

Feedback from the pilots also showed that it would be essential for learners to complete all four Blocks of learning in order to gain the best possible learning experience from the course. For example Block 1 of The FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football includes topics such as goalkeeping which did not form part of The FA Youth Award Module 3. So non-attendance of Block 1 would mean important learning is lost.

Therefore the entry point, regardless of whether you hold The FA Youth Award Module 3 or The FA Youth Award, is now the start of Block 1 only.
